1943 Halftrack 

His dreams came true with a 1943 Halftrack Military Vehicle Restoration!!

Information about John Spink's restoration activities:

John is currently restoring a 1943 Halftrack.  The frame and drive-train is complete and he is working on the body with a Quad 50.  Photos will be added as this work continues.

He has also restored a 1958 Deuce-and-a-Half, Vietnam era gun truck.  He received the Gold Award for this category at the Military Vehicle Preservation convention in 2013.

John has also restored-repainted the A-7 Corsair on display at the USS KIDD Veterans Memorial in Baton Rouge, LA as well as the P40 on display in the plaza.

The F4 Phantom on display at the American Legion in Baton Rouge was also restored-repainted by JohnSpink.

John also volunteers to cook for military personnel when they are deployed and for family days.

He displays the gun truck at numerous public events.  Over 17,500 children have climbed into the Deuce and experienced its history.
